Bryan Gerstel

Bryan Gerstel now serves of Counsel to our firm and brings his wisdom and unique success in matters involving Construction Defect and Insurance Law.  Mr. Gerstel is one of the early pioneer’s of the development of construction defect laws favorable to homeowners and consumers.  Mr. Gerstel formed the firm Duke Gerstel Shearer, LLP in San Diego in 1972 with a singular goal - - to provide exceptional legal services to meet with unique needs of California’s Homeowner’s and Community Association’s.  Mr. Gerstel’s success gained momentum on the shoulders of the largest residential defect settlement ever obtained in the United States at that time - - a $36,000,000 settlement on behalf of 400 homeowners (Villa Montinique v. Christiana Community Builders).
